Senator Teslim Folarin of Oyo Central Senatorial District has sent condolence message to ace gospel musician, Dr. Yinka Ayefele and Fresh FM family over the demise of Mr. David Ajiboye.
The Fresh FM, in a statement released by Mr. Samson Akindele, announced the passing away of Mr. David on Sunday evening.
Mr. David Ajiboye, until his death, was Station Manager at Fresh 106.9 FM, Ado Ekiti.
Mr. Ajiboye died on Sunday evening, 8th August 2021 at an Ibadan – based hospital after a brief illness which lasted for a few days.
Mr. Ajiboye was a foundation member of the music arm of Yinka Ayefele Limited as the Publicist to Dr. Yinka Ayefele and the Merry Makers Band.
He was a prominent person who assisted Dr. Yinka Ayefele as a partner and later as a management staff member of Fresh 105.9 FM, Ibadan from the ideation period to fruition in 2015.
The Chairman Senate Committee on Local Content, in a condolence message issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity – Com. YSO Olaniyi, expressed shock at the news of the demise of Dr. Yinka Ayefele’s media aide.
“The news of the exit of the Mr. David Ajiboye is coming at a time when his wealth of experience was mostly needed in the expansion of Fresh FM brand. It will be difficult to find his replacement”
“I commiserate with the family of the deceased and the Fresh FM family. May God comfort you and give you the fortitude to bear the colossal loss”
Senator Folarin prayed to the almighty God to grant his soul eternal rest.
