Notable personalities are expected to grace 2021 End-of-the-year party of Oyo State Chapter of LAUTECH Alumni Association.
The event is billed to hold on Sunday 26th December, 2021 by 2pm at Ibadan Progressive Union building, Oluyole, Ibadan.
The Oyo state commissioner for Youth and Sports, Asiwaju Seun Fakorede is to deliver the Association’s Annual Lecture titled “Overcoming the Challenges of Youth Participation in Politics and Nation Building”, while Chief of Staff to Oyo State Governor, Chief Segun Ebenezer Ogunwuyi is Special Guest of Honour.
The occasion, which will be chaired by Chief Jide Bewaji, the BOT Chairman of LAUTECH Alumni Association (Worldwide) will attract other notable personalities including Com. Abiodun Oluwaseun, Special Assistant on Project Delivery to the Oyo state Governor, Hon. Onilede Solomon, Global Alumni president, Hon. Olalekan AbdulRahman Badmus, the Alumni global deputy President and the Osun state commissioner for Regional Integration and Special duties, Prof. Tunde Olabiyisi, former Alumni president, Prof. Azeem Ige, LAUTECH Dean of students Affairs and Alumni Global Secretary, Prof. Remi Aworemi, Alumni Mother chapter Chairman, Engr. Tayo Fapohunda, former Oyo state Alumni chapter Chairman and head of the state Advisory Board, Engr. Seun Adedibu, the secretary of the Advisory Board, Hon. Tunde Ajayi-Ope, a member of the Advisory Board, Bashorun Adekunle Oladeji(Omo BAO), former Chairman of Aare Latosa LCDA and Dr. Olusegun Oyewumi, Chairman COEASU
Two personalities will be awarded on the day. They are Prof. Jacob Adewale the Ag Provost of the college of Agricultural sciences and Renewable Natural Resources, Iseyin and Hon. Onilede Solomon, the global president in recognition of their selfless service to the Alumni in general.
The chapter Chairman, Folaranmi Awosika has thus called on all members of the LAUTECH ALUMNI ASSOCIATION OYO STATE CHAPTER to be at the programme which will start with the red carpet by 2pm.
