A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Hon. Dapo Ogunlade has accused Governor Seyi Makinde-led People’s Democratic Party (PDP) government of ordering Alhaji Mukaila Lamidi Auxiliary and his daredevil thugs of destroying billboards belonging to some of the chieftains of the main opposition party in the state.
Ogunlade who made available pictures of the destruction to the NewsCarrierNG, described Makinde’s government as “most intolerant” in the history of Oyo State.
According to the pictures, billboards belonging to Engr. Joseph Tegbe, Barr. Oyeleru Wakili, Hassan Olawale Giwa and Awanat Fijabi were allegedly destroyed by Auxiliary-led PDP thugs.
Hon. Ogunlade while urging APC members to refrain from retaliation, called on the law enforcement agencies to address the provocative action of the ruling government.
