Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde has sent a letter to Oyo State House of Assembly, seeking an approval to extend the tenure of Local Government Caretaker Committee for another three months.
Tenure of the caretaker chairmen in all 33 and 35 local governments and LCDAs ends on 19th December 2020.
The House Speaker, Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin, during its Monday plenary, disclosed the house would liaise with the house committee on local and chieftaincy matters before it considers governor’s request on Friday 18th December 2020
