A sit-at-home order by the proscribed Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB) has reportedly turned loody in Enugu and Ebonyi States of the Southeastern region of Nigeria.
The News Carrier NG reported how residents of all of the five states of the Southeastern region of Nigeria complied with a sit-at-home order by the IPOB on Monday, May 31, 2021.
The outlawed group directed residents in the Southeast zone of the country to sit at home from May 29 – 31.
Recall, Imo State Police Command vowed to decisively deal with members of the IPOB if they try to enforce the sit-at-home order.
The News Carrier NG understands that the residents of the 5 Igbo states obeyed the Nnamdi Kanu-led group following the gruesome assassination of Barrister Ahmed Gulak in Owerri on Sunday morning.
