The Ibadan Magisterial District has remanded popular Ibadan-based skit maker, Abdullahi Maruf Adisa alias Trinity and parents of the minor featured in a viral sex prank video at the Agodi Correctional Center
The official statement by the Oyo State Command of Nigeria Police reads:
Updates: Abdullahi Maruf Adisa ‘m’ Trinity and the 2 Others were arraigned on Monday 26/06/2023 at the Family Court under the Ibadan Magisterial District under the II Count charges of Sexual Abuse & S/Exploitation violating Secs 516 of the Criminal code cap 38. Vol II Laws of Nigeria, 2000 and Sec 35(1) of the Oyo State Child Rights laws, 2006 punishable under Sec(2) of same.
Abdullahi Maruf Adisa ‘M’ Age 31 and parents of the minor have been remanded at the Agodi Correctional Center,Ibadan.
Case has been adjourned till Tuesday 11/7/2023..End
Recall, Mr. Trinity was invited by the Oyo State Police Command after a video of him and a female minor made the rounds on social media.
Spokesperson of the Nigerian Police Olumuyiwa Adejobi had called for the arrest of Trinity after the video of him and a minor went viral on Twitter.
