On the occasion of the celebration of Eid-el-Fitr in Nigeria and across the world, Senator Adelere Oriolowo has felicitated with muslim faithfuls and called on Nigerians to imbibe spirit of tolerance and patriotism.
In his charge to Muslim Faithfuls, the Senator Representing Osun West at the Red chamber in a statement through his Media Aide, Oluniyi Isamotu called for tolerance and respect in the nation irrespective of tribe, religion and political leanings, in the quest to build a strong and united Nigeria.
Speaking further, Oriolowo said “Despite numerous challenges in the country, hope is not lost”. “Only tolerance, stronger sense of patriotism and love for one another can help the country surmount her present challenges”.
He further congratulated Muslims on the Eid celebrations and tasked all Nigerians, to use the season to promote national integration, saying “Eid-el-Fitr is a time of love and goodwill. It gives us a message to love all and hate none.”
