Engr. Idris Adeoye, a renowned engineer and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has extended warm birthday greetings to Engr. Rauf Olaniyan, former Deputy Governor of Oyo State.
Engr. Adeoye praised Engr. Olaniyan’s remarkable contributions to the growth and development of Oyo State, both as a top civil servant and a seasoned political administrator. “Engr. Olaniyan’s dedication, expertise, and passion for public service have left an indelible mark on our state,” he said.
As a civil engineer, Engr. Olaniyan played a crucial role in shaping Oyo State’s infrastructure, particularly during his tenure as the pioneer General Manager of the Oyo State Road Maintenance Agency (OYSROMA). His leadership and technical expertise helped improve the state’s road network, facilitating economic growth and development.
Engr. Adeoye also commended Engr. Olaniyan’s achievements as Deputy Governor, where he worked tirelessly to promote the welfare of Oyo State citizens. His commitment to good governance, transparency, and accountability has earned him a reputation as a true statesman.
