Folarin Mourns the Passing of Former Oyo State Governor, Dr. Victor Omololu Olunloyo

Former Senate leader, Senator Teslim Folarin has mourned the passing of former governor of Old Oyo State, Dr. Victor Omololu Olunloyo.
The Ibadan-born academia and politician passed on at the age of 89.
The statement reads:
I extend my deepest condolences the Olunloyo family, the people of Ibadan and the government of Oyo State on the passing of a revered elder statesman and former Governor of Old Oyo State, His Excellency Dr. Victor Omololu Olunloyo.
Baba lived a remarkable life, marked by unwavering dedication to the masses and significant contributions to academia and politics.
As a Commissioner and later as Executive Governor, Baba’s pro-masses advocacy and policies improved the lives of countless individuals, leaving an indelible mark on the state’s history. His commitment to the welfare of our people was evident in his governance, showcasing his selfless leadership.
Dr. Olunloyo’s scholarly pursuits and achievements serve as an inspiration to many. His influence extended beyond party lines, earning respect from colleagues and opponents alike.
