More prominent Nigerians have condoled with Senator Teslim Folarin (Oyo Central) over the demise of his wife, Barrister Angela Nwaka.
The deceased, wife of Senator Teslim Folarin (Oyo Central), passed away in London on January 28 at the age of 47.

Femi Gbajabiama; Deputy President of Nigerian Senate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege; Sultan of Sokoto, His Eminence Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar III; national caretaker chairman of APC and governor of Yobe State, Alhaji Mai-Mala Buni; governors Hope Uzodinma (Imo State) and Prince Dapo Abiodun (Ogun State), and Aminu Tambuwal (Sokoto); deputy governor of Oyo State, Engr. Rauf Olaniyan; senators Gbemisola Saraki and Musiliu Obanikoro; former deputy governor of Oyo State and deputy national chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja; former police minister, Alhaji Jeleel Adesiyan; former minister of communications, Barrister Adebayo Shittu; and former military governor Bode George were among top Nigerians that called to commiserate with the Oyo Central senator.
Former governor of Lagos State and national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has commiserated with Senator Teslim Folarin over the death of his wife, Mrs. Angela Nwaka-Folarin.
“I received the news of the passing of your wife, Mrs. Angela Nwaka Folarin, with shock and sadness. I know her death would hurt deeply knowing how close both of you were.
“We must accept her passing as the will of Almighty God who we cannot question” said Tinubu.
Also, a two- term former governor of Borno and frontline national chairmanship aspirant of APC, Senator Ali-Modu Sheriff in his condolence statement said that late Angela worked to impact lives positively and would be remembered for it.
“I know this must be a very trying period for you and your entire family, knowing how well you bonded with her and the love she had for you and your family,” he said.
“As I share in your pains and grief at this period of your loss, I implore you to be strong and steadfast in Allah from where cometh our help.
“Your wife was indeed an exceptional person, a woman of valor with a large heart and will be greatly missed by all, especially those whose lives she touched positively in one way or the other.” Sheriff said.
Late Angela Folarin will be buried in Nigeria, the News Carrier NG reports.
