Oyo State Chapter of All Progressives Congress(APC) has petitioned the Inspector General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba, over alleged attempted murder, arson and wilful destruction of properties against the State Chairman, Park Management System (PMS), Mukaila Lamidi known as ‘Auxiliary’ and his gang.
Complaint of alleged criminal actions and murder was contained in a Letter of Petition written by Oyo State Secretary, Alhaji Tajudeen Olanite, which its copies were made available to Assistant Inspector General of Police (Zone 11, Osogbo), The Commissioner of Police (Oyo State Police Command, Eleyele, Ibadan) and The Area Command (Iwo Road, Ibadan) respectively.
In the petition, Oyo State APC hinted that its members and properties have become subjects of repeated attacks and destruction by Auxiliary and his members of PMS.
APC recalled that members of its party and other innocent Nigerians had reported several criminal activities against Mukaila Lamidi(Auxiliary and the members of PMS which had not abated, sequel to Auxiliary’s assumption of proving above the law and over reliance on backing of Governor Seyi Makinde, who allegedly allows them to engage in criminal actions and murders.
The Letter of Petition against the person of Auxiliary and his boys is hereby succinctly expatiated as follows:

COMPLAINTS OVER ATTEMPTED MURDER ARSON AND WILFUL DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTIES AGAINST MUKAILA-LAMIDI (AKA AUXILLIARY) AND MEMBERS OF PARK MANAGEMENT OF OYO STATE.
We humbly write this petition to you on behalf of the All Progressives Congress, Oyo State Chapter l, whose members and properties have been subjects of repeated attacks and destruction by the above-named individuals.
You would recall that members of our Party and other innocent Nigerians have reported several criminal activities against Mukaila Lamidi (Auxilliary) and the members of the ‘PMS’ which have not abated because they assumed that they are above the law and have the backing of the Governor of Oyo State, Engineer Seyi Makinde, whereof till date none have been held to account for their criminal actions, including murders.
Pursuant the above, on the 3rd September, 2022, the same criminal elements attacked the convoy of Honourable (Prince) Akeem Adeyemi at Iwo road whereof, several vehicles were damaged and many people injured, while the Honourable was able to escape by the whiskers.
It is important to mention here that Oyo State is gradually returning to a lawless society because, in no time people may be forced to defend themselves from these unwarranted attacks on them and their properties and may likely lead to breakdown of law and order, since law enforcement agents have refused to come to their aid.
It is on record that these elements have killed a lot of innocent Nigerians in the past, while at a time, they boldly threatened to kill former Governor Ayo Fayose and Senator Teslim Folarin over which the Nigerian Police Force have not taken any action till date.
The actions of these people are beyond Oyo State Police Command because they usually boast that the entire Oyo State State Police Command is in their pocket, hence can do anything and go scot free.
We humbly urge you to cause an extensive investigation into these complaints and others in order to prevent further loss of lives and properties towards avoiding potential reprisals from helpless victims.
