He is a man ,who in the words of James Freeman , has a cheerful yesterday and confident tomorrow. Many people are always kept spellbound and a few have a kind of diservicing feelings about the secret behind TKF’s electoral success.
It simple. TkF has rightly calculated that the only way to have people around you is to relate with them and accord them disserving respect, feel their pulses and provide through proper legislation and little personal support to address their needs. Governance , must of course, seeps down to the people ..
Because of being loved by his people, some politicians nick named him “Jagba ” as the Dice is always cast in his favour in any political contest.
He said recently that , politics is a game played by the intelligent people as every player schemes for his or her own favour . Logical Assessment is that if he ” jagba from the political class, its for the overall benefits of the downtrodden .
He is a leader with required competence and ability to fulfil the functions . More importantly, like Boys scout motto, he is always prepared.
When he was going for a radio interview recently, he was armed to the teeth with basic information that might be needful for ” facts and figures ” to corroborate his points .
He emphasised during the interview that he ‘s a man of the people, whom they trust will always tell as it is.
He added that much unlike a tyroo learning through the job, he is an astute politician who knows where it hurts his people and kind of balm to apply. Hence ,people prefer to choose him for an umpteenth time to represent them in the upper Chambers.
He averred that ” where I learnt politics , we do not cast aspersion on anybody. The have and have nots milled round Baba as one ,since , the high and the low have but equal one vote.
TKF was right and address the point logically as politics is about the welfare of the people. Politics is derived from the word “polis ” in old Greece, which means ” a city state ” that is governed by the people .
TKF ‘s ability to identify and always and promptly address the needs of the dispossessed and advantaged ones in the society. therefore balancing the community needs. This has over the years marks him out as a politician working for the common good.
A sage says ” you must not only know what is going on, but must be steps ahead others “. This is the hidden strength of the mind of TKF. No wonder he kept hammering on ” mekunnu ” ( the commoners at the programme.
This is rated by BOETHIUS as ” the supreme good ” , others are lesser good.
I wish TKF all the best in his mission to rescue Oyo state for the sake of the anguished masses ,as Governor in 2023. May his dreams come true.
