An Ibadan-based none governmental organisation, Accountability for Oyo Properties (AOP), on Monday described the governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde as prodigal son over alleged sales of landed properties belonging to the State government.
The group said the governor has sold almost all the landed properties reserved for the benefit of the future generations in the state.
AOP in a statement signed by its state chairman, Olusola Adeyemi advised govenor Makinde to prepare to answer many questions on the properties of the state after his tenure.
The foremost group in the state mentioned about 50 acres of land located at the compound of Broadcasting of Oyo state (BCOS) Basorun, second phase of Kolapo Ishola Estate, 70 acres of land located in Oki along Iwo Road-Olodo Road and his plan to sell trans amusement Park as second phase of erodrum estate.
The group wondered what the governor could have been selling, if the past governors in the state had sold the properties before he became a governor.
Frowning at the development, AOP said to make the matter worse, Makinde sold all the said properties to none indigenes of Oyo state with intention of taking the state resources out of the state to empowe his people.
