The International Association Of World Peace Advocates, IAWPA, Oyo state chapter, today, Monday, 20th of November, 2023 paid a courtesy visit to the Oyo state headquarters of the Directorate of States Security.
Lead by Its Director, Dr. Muhammed Musa Alongbija, the Association was received by the Oyo state Director of states security, Mr John Madima, fsi, senior management staffs such as the Deputy Director operations, Mr. J Adejoh, Dr. Oluwole Faloye, DD Admin, Madam Onasanya, Mr A. Owolabi, Mr. Ayo, the SSA on Inter Governmental Affairs, Madam E Akintola and the Head of Media, Mr. Stephen Oyinlola and other Senior members of staff.
In a short address, the state Director of IAWPA, Dr. Alongbija appreciate the DSS for the warm reception accorded the Team.
He acknowledged the presence, in person, of the State Director of DSS and other Senior members of the management staffs.
He emphasized that the Association was established in 2001 but was registered in Nigeria in 2022.
He went further to say that the main Agenda of the Association is the 17 Goals encapsulated as objectives of the United Nations.
He finally concluded by stating that the Association was inaugurated in Oyo state on September, 2023 under the Mayoral of the renown Prophet S. M. O. Mustapha aka Sebioba.
He emphasized that the Association is willing to partner the DSS to foster peace in Oyo state and Nigeria and that, arrangements will be made to decorate the State Director of SS as an Ambassador of peace.
He acknowledged the continuous support received from the World Peace President, Amb. Per Stasfson and spokesperson, Amb. Emmanuel Nweke.
In his response, the Oyo state Director of the SS welcome the Team.
He emphasized that the Directorate recognizes that the Association as partners in the maintenance and sustenance of peace.
He assured that his office will keep an open door to the Association at all time.
He accepted the honor to be decorated as an Ambassador of peace in Oyo state.
The state Director of IAWPA, Dr. Alongbija signed the Register of honor and an award was presented to the Association as a token of Appreciation.
The Director was was accompanied by the Ass. Director, Mrs. Kikelomo Lawal, secretary, Mr. Sola Abegunde, ace Broadcaster, Mr. Jibola Akinyefa, Dr. Najmudeen Olayode, Mogaji Ogunsola Anisere, Mr. Abdulmumin Oluokiun, Mrs. Fatimo Bola Oluokun Mogaji Adesina Olatunji Mogaji Fakayode, Mogaji Omotoso Iyiola, Sheikh Muideen Ayede and Mr Ismaila Abiodun Ajadi.
