The acting Dean of Student Affairs at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, Dr. Adewusi John Adepoju, has extended warm birthday felicitations to the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Rasaq Olatunde ROM Kalilu, on the occasion of his birthday anniversary today.
Dr. Adepoju lauded Prof. Kalilu’s immense contributions to LAUTECH and the global academic community, describing them as “enormous and commendable.”
Speaking with Pannigeriannews.com in Ogbomoso on Thursday, Dr. Adepoju described the Vice Chancellor, a distinguished Professor of Art and Art History, as an exceptional scholar, visionary leader, and dedicated administrator whose tenure continues to inspire excellence in teaching, research, and service.
He further praised Prof. Kalilu’s commitment to elevating LAUTECH’s global standing and creating an enabling environment for both staff and students to excel.
“On behalf of the entire students and other critical stakeholders in the student population, I heartily celebrate our amiable Vice Chancellor and astute leader of inestimable value, Prof. Rasaq Olatunde ROM Kalilu. May the Almighty grant him good health, wisdom, and greater achievements in the years ahead,” Dr. Adepoju stated.
He said Prof. Kalilu made tremendous feats in the global arena and that he is widely respected for his groundbreaking contributions to the field of art and art history, as well as his transformative leadership within the Nigerian university system.
