A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Engr. Idris Adeoye, has congratulated Chief (Mrs.) Florence Ajimobi, former First Lady of Oyo State, on her ambassadorial nomination by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In a statement released on Sunday, Engr. Adeoye described Mrs. Ajimobi as “a leader, a mother, and one of the strongest pillars of the progressive family in Oyo State whose wisdom, courage, and unwavering commitment to party ideals have continued to inspire generations.”

He commended President Tinubu for making what he called “the right call and an excellent choice,” noting that Mrs. Ajimobi’s exemplary character, exposure, and leadership qualities make her eminently suitable for the ambassadorial role.

“Chief (Mrs.) Florence Ajimobi has always demonstrated rare strength, dignity, and loyalty. She is a dependable leader and a solid pillar of our progressive movement. Her ambassadorial nomination is well deserved, and I have no doubt whatsoever that she will represent Nigeria honourably and will not disappoint,” Engr. Adeoye stated.

He added that Mrs. Ajimobi remains a symbol of stability in the APC family and has consistently shown commitment to the growth and unity of the party both in Oyo State and nationally.

Engr. Adeoye prayed for God’s continued grace, protection, and wisdom for Mrs. Ajimobi as she prepares to take on this new national assignment.
