Former Senate Leader and Agba-Akin Olubadan of Ibadanland, Senator Teslim Kolawole Folarin, has congratulated former first lady of Oyo State, Dr. (Mrs.) Florence Ajimobi, on her ambassadorial nomination by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In a statement personally signed by him, Senator Folarin described the nomination as “a well-deserved national recognition and a testament to the exceptional capacity, character, and intellect of the former First Lady.”
He commended President Tinubu for what he termed a thoughtful, fitting, and highly appropriate choice, noting that Mrs. Ajimobi has all it takes to represent Nigeria with honour and distinction.
“Her Excellency Florence Ajimobi is well-travelled, well-exposed, and richly equipped with the intellectual depth and diplomatic capacity needed for ambassadorial service. She is a woman of substance, grace, and unwavering commitment to public good. I sincerely thank President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for making such a right and deserving choice,” Senator Folarin stated.
The Senator added that Mrs. Ajimobi has demonstrated leadership excellence, maturity, and patriotism over the years, qualities he believes will reflect positively in her ambassadorial responsibilities.
He expressed confidence that she will bring honour to Nigeria in the global arena and uphold the finest values of the country in whichever nation or mission she is posted to serve.
Senator Folarin prayed that Almighty God grants her wisdom, protection, and outstanding success in this new chapter of national assignment.
