Senator Teslim Kolawole Folarin has paid a warm birthday tribute to Alhaji Fatai Ibikunle, describing him as a steadfast progressive, party stabiliser, and a pillar of unity within the progressive family in Oyo State.
In his congratulatory message, Senator Folarin praised Alhaji Ibikunle’s decades-long commitment to progressive politics and grassroots mobilisation, noting that his experience, discipline, and loyalty have continued to strengthen the structure of the All Progressives Congress in the state.
The Senator recalled Alhaji Ibikunle’s meritorious service as Personal Assistant to the late former Governor of Oyo State, Lam Adesina, describing the period as one marked by dedication, integrity, and selfless service to the people.
Senator Folarin further acknowledged Alhaji Ibikunle’s current national responsibilities, including his role as a Director at the South West Development Commission and his membership of the Code of Conduct Bureau, noting that these appointments reflect his credibility, experience, and unwavering commitment to public service.
“Alhaji Fatai Ibikunle remains one of the key stabilisers of the progressive family in Oyo State,” Senator Folarin said. “His calm leadership, institutional memory, and bridge-building capacity continue to promote unity, discipline, and continuity within our party.”
