Folarin Mourns Passing of Ex-Oyo Lawmaker, Condoles APC

Former Senate Leader and Oyo State Ambassador for Renewed Hope, Senator Teslim Kolawole Folarin, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of former member of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Adegoke Thomas Abiodun, who died in the early hours of today after a brief illness.

Hon. Abiodun represented Kajola State Constituency in the Oyo State House of Assembly between 2011 and 2015, where he served as Chairman of the House Committee on Health. He hailed from Ayetoro Oke, Okeho, in Kajola Local Government Area of Oyo State.

In a condolence message, Senator Folarin described the late lawmaker as a committed public servant and a dependable party man whose contributions to legislative development and party growth would be long remembered.

<span;>> “Hon. Adegoke Abiodun was a principled legislator, a grassroots politician, and a loyal chieftain of our great party. His service to Kajola Constituency and Oyo State, particularly in the area of health legislation, remains commendable,” Folarin said.

The former Senate Leader also condoled the leadership and members of the All Progressives Congress in Oyo State, noting that the party has lost a devoted and disciplined member whose experience and commitment strengthened its structure at the grassroots.

Senator Folarin further extended his sympathies to the Abiodun family, friends, political associates, and the people of Kajola Local Government, praying that God grants them the fortitude to bear the loss and grants the deceased eternal rest.

Hon. Adegoke Thomas Abiodun is survived by family members and a legacy of service rooted in dedication, humility, and party loyalty.
