Engr. Adeoye Pays Glowing Tribute to Late Dr. Isiaka Kolawole

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State has been thrown into mourning following the death of Dr. Isiaka Kolawole, a distinguished public servant, education administrator, political strategist and prominent member of the party.

Reacting to the development, an APC stalwart in the state, Engr. Idris Adeoye, described the late Kolawole as a remarkable leader, mentor and dependable stakeholder whose contributions to public service, education and the growth of the party would remain indelible.

In a condolence statement issued on Sunday, Adeoye said he received the news of Kolawole’s passing with profound sadness, describing him as a committed party member who dedicated considerable years of his life to the service of humanity and the development of Oyo State.

According to Adeoye, Kolawole’s service as Deputy Executive Secretary of the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) demonstrated his commitment to advancing education and improving the welfare and prospects of the younger generation.

He also highlighted Kolawole’s significant contributions to the political development of Oyo State, particularly his role as Director-General of the APC Campaign Council for Senator Teslim Folarin during the 2023 Oyo State Governorship Election.

Adeoye noted that, during the electioneering period, Kolawole displayed remarkable organisational ability, political sagacity, courage and unwavering loyalty to the party.

«“His contributions to the political development and strengthening of the APC in Oyo State will remain part of his enduring legacy,” Adeoye stated.»

The APC stalwart further described Kolawole as a leader, mentor, dependable stakeholder and member of the Oyo State APC Advisory Council, whose wealth of experience and counsel enriched political engagements and discussions within the party.

He said Kolawole’s death was not only a painful loss to his immediate family but also a significant loss to Ibadan, Oyo State, the APC family and everyone who had the privilege of knowing and working with him.

Adeoye extended his deepest condolences to the Kolawole family, his friends and associates, as well as the leadership and members of the APC in Oyo State and the people of Ibadan.

«“Dr. Isiaka Kolawole may have departed this world, but his service, contributions and memories will continue to live on,” Adeoye said.»

He prayed that Almighty Allah would forgive the deceased’s shortcomings, accept his good deeds and grant him Al-Jannatul Firdaus, while giving his family, loved ones, political associates and the entire APC family the strength and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
