The Chairman Senate Committee on Local Content and lawmaker representing Oyo Central Senatorial District, Senator Teslim Folarin has commiserated with the Alaafin of Oyo – His Imperial Majesty Oba (Dr.) Lamidi Adeyemi III; Chief Imam of Oyo Land – Dr. Mas’ud Abdulganiyy Ajokidero; and Muslim ummah of the ancient town of Oyo over the death of a leading Islamic scholar and Mufasir of Oyo, Sheik Hadi Adebayo.
In a condolence statement released by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity- Com. YSO Olaniyi, Senator Folarin said the late Mufasir would be remembered for his huge contributions to Islamic scholarship and propagation in Oyo town and Oyo State at large.
“I received news of the death of Sheik Hadi Adebayo (Mufasir of Oyo) with equanimity in firm belief that to Allah is our ultimate return. The Mufasir was a complete gentleman, whose leadership and worldview was how to promote peace and tranquillity in Oyo town and its environs”.
“On behalf of my family and the good people of Oyo Central, I commiserate with my father- His Imperial Majesty Oba (Dr.) Lamidi Adeyemi III; Chief Imam of Oyo Land – Dr. Mas’ud Abdulganiyy Ajokidero; late Sheik Hadi’s families, and Muslim ummah of the ancient town of Oyo on this huge loss”.
