Condolence messages are pouring in for the Chairman Senate Committee on Local Content and lawmaker representing Oyo Central Senatorial District, Senator Teslim Folarin over the death of his wife.
The wife of Oyo Central senator was dead on Friday afternoon in London at the age of 47.
Senator Abdulfatai Buhari (Oyo North), in his condolence message to his colleague, described the death of Angela Folarin as sudden.
“My deepest condolences go to my brother and colleague at the Nigerian Senate, Senator Teslim Kolawole Folarin, the Senator representing Oyo Central and Chairman, Senate Committee on Local Content over the sudden death of his wife, Barrister Angela Nwaka Folarin”.
“Barr. Angela Folarin’s death was a colossal loss to her husband, family members, constituents of Oyo Central Senatorial District and the generality of Oyo state people who her philanthropic and compassionate nature impacted. She will be greatly missed”.
“At this trying time, I share in the grief of my brother and friend, Senator Folarin who has just lost a confidant and huge pillar of support. Barr. Folarin’s death should be seen as a test of faith as every mortal shall die”.

The ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State also condoled with their former governorship candidate.
“Oyo PDP, in a statement signed by its State Publicity Secretary – Engr. Akeem Olatunji, described Angela Folarin as an outstanding woman”.
“There are no goodbyes for us. Wherever you are, you will always be in our hearts.
For some moments in life there are no words, Madam Angela Folarin, I am in short of words. Goodnight and may your soul rest in peace.”
“To our beloved Leader, Senator Oloye Teslim Kolawole Folarin, kindly accept our condolences from all of us in Oyo State PDP” the statement concluded.
Also sent his condolence, is former executive chairman of Ibadan North LGA on the platform of PDP, Hon. Ademola Omotosho.
“O Lord, my goodness, Haaa, why, why now. The death of Angela Nwaka Folarin comes to me as a rude shock. Angela has gone to be with the Lord in her prime. She was a dutiful,caring and supportive wife and mother. She was a strong pillar supporting Sen Folarin all the way. Politically, before you get to see Folarin once, you would have seen Angela ten times. My condolences goes to my friend, Sen Folarin, may the Lord wipe your tears, comfort you and your family. May the soul of the departed find rest in the bosom of our Lord” he wrote on his Facebook.
