Ismael Ahmed, National Youth Leader of All Progressives Congress, APC, has expressed his appreciation to the leadership of National Assembly for appointing a frontline APC member and South West youth stakeholder, Folawiyo Bello as Federal Commissioner of the Public Complaints Commission, PCC.
Ahmed, who is also the founder of the All Progressives Youth Forum, APYF, described the appointment as a huge honour for the youth constituency and a befitting reward for the long years of commitment to the ideals and values of the APC by the appointee.
He said the choice of Folawiyo Bello would be justified by the “outstanding contributions, administrative experience and foresight which he would be bringing to the works of the PCC towards ensuring that Nigerians receive timely and adequate attention in resolving complaints and grievances in line with President Muhammadu Buhari’s desire for due regard for the fundamental human rights of citizens.
“Folawiyo is a great guy, and I am confident he will not disappoint the vast army of Nigerian youth who are waiting for opportunities such as this to prove their mettle and capacity. I have no doubt he’ll make us proud in his new role,” he said in the statement.
While tasking the new appointee to justify the confidence reposed in him and to use his new position to advance the larger interests of Nigerian youth; Ahmed, who is also a Senior Special Assistant to the President on Social Investments, expressed his gratitude to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila for his undisguised commitment to the upliftment of young people and more specifically for his support for Folawiyo Bello.
The APC youth leader congratulates the new appointee and wished him a successful tenure.
