The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Oyo South Senatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Barr. Sharafadeen Ali as winner of February 25th elections.
Sharafadeen Alli polled 111,513 votes to defeat Engr. Joseph Tegbe of PDP who polled 92,481 votes. Accord’s candidate, Mr. Kola Daisi garnered 33,641 votes
Oyo APC has won all the senatorial seats in the state
