Former senate leader, Senator Teslim Folarin has condoled with the family of Hon. Musiliu Akinremi and the All Progressives Congress (APC), saying his death is a great loss to Ibadan North Federal Constituency and Oyo State at large.
The house of representatives member, Hon. Akinremi died in the early hours of Wednesday in Abuja.
A condolence message signed by Senator Folarin’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Com. YSO Olaniyi, said “Hon. Akinremi left us when his experience and input in the governance of Nigeria were most needed.
“For me, this is a personal loss, Akinremi was not just a brother, political ally and one of APC’s best-performing federal lawmakers”
“APC has indeed lost one of its finest members. My heart and my soul are heavy. Akinremi’s departure is too heart-rending to bear.”
“At this trying period, we can only pray for the repose of the soul of our brother. We cannot question God for His decision is final. Though we love Hon. Akinremi but God loves more.
“May Almighty Allah comfort his immediate family, Oyo APC, Ibadan North LGA constituents and friends. May Allah Grant him Al-Janatul Firdaus”.
