Wife of Oyo State Youth leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) was on Sunday evening kidnapped by unknown gunmen in Ibadan, Oyo State.
The victim, Mrs Oni-Salawu Aderike is a medical doctor and wife of Hon. Areokuta Salawu, Oyo State youth leader of the main opposition party, APC.
Mrs. Areokuta was said to be driving in front of her husband when she was kidnapped in front of their Aromolaran house on Old Ife road.
According to a source, “They were both coming home. She was driving in front while the husband was driving behind. As she alighted to open the gate of the house, the kidnappers surfaced, brandishing guns and other dangerous objects. They kidnapped the wife in the process. That was around 10.00 pm last night”
