Former commissioner for works and transport, Dr. Yunus Akintunde has been officially declared as 2023 APC candidate for Oyo Central senatorial district.
The Oyo-born politician defeated his co-contestants with 238 votes.
Engr. Faozey Oladotun Nurudeen came second with 176 votes.
Barr. Wakil Oyedemi scored 43 votes , Bimbo Kolade 30 votes while Kazeem Kolawole Raji had 5.
