The immediate past Executive Chairman of Ogbomoso North Local Government Area of Oyo State, Hon. Olamijuwonlo Alao-Akala has eulogised the Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba (Dr.) Jimoh Oyewumi Ajagungbade III on his 95th birthday anniversary.
Hon. Olamiju, in a goodwill message he personally signed and made available to newsmen, stated that the Soun’s reign fosters peace, stability and tremendous development to Ogbomosoland and its environs.
The message read in parts:
“I congratulate my grandfather and our highly respected monarch, His Royal Majesty, Oba Jimoh Oladunni Oyewumi Ajagungbade III as he celebrates 95th birthday anniversary”.
“Kabiyesi offers focused, committed, purposeful and dynamic leadership in Ogbomosoland. His reign has helped in engendering peace, stability and development in Oyo State as it has also brought unity and cohesion within the traditional institution in Yoruba land and Nigeria at large.
The son of former governor Alao-Akala,
noted that the Soun’s wise counsel was invaluable and had helped in navigating difficult junctures during his time as Executive Chairman of Ogbomoso North LGA.
“May God continue to grant Baba good health. I pray that Baba Soun’s reign continue to bring forth peace, stability and prosperity to Ogbomosoland, Oyo State and Nigeria.Kabiyesi, ki ade o pe lori, ki bata o pe lese, ki esin oba o jeko pe ooo. Amin” he concluded.
