As a follow up to resolution of the Global Assembly of LAUTECH Alumni Association, Global President Onilede Solomon, in the early hours of Sunday, 13th December 2020 met with the leadership of Medical Students in Osogbo campus.
Com. Onilede Solomon is expected to meet with other stakeholders after his closed-door meeting with Senate President of LAUTECH Medical Students Association, Com. Adeleke Nurudeen.
This newspaper reliably gathered that the medical students made two major requests, which are accommodation and examinations facilities in Ogbomoso. The Global President assured the concerned students that the Alumni Association would collaborate with Oyo and Osun State Governments in order to ensure their smooth relocation to Ogbomoso.
A reliable source told this newspaper on Saturday that Com. Onilede had a lengthy phone conversation with Oyo State Commissioner for Education, Barr. Olasunkanmi. “They both discussed relocation of our undergraduate medical students from Osogbo to Ogbomoso” the source disclosed.
