Engr Idris Adeoye, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, has expressed deep sadness over the death of Hon. Isaac Ajiboye Omodewu, the party’s state Chairman.
In a condolence message, Engr Adeoye described Hon. Omodewu’s death as a significant loss, saying “a big tree has fallen.” He commiserated with the people of Oyo State, Okeogun zone, and Itesiwaju Local Government, as well as Hon. Omodewu’s family, friends, and associates.
Hon. Omodewu, who served as Commissioner for Land and Housing under late Governor Abiola Ajimobi, was praised for his exceptional leadership and dedication to Oyo State’s development. As State Chairman of the APC, he worked tirelessly to deepen democracy in the state. His contributions to land administration, housing development, and democratic governance will be remembered and cherished.
Engr Adeoye urged that Hon. Omodewu’s legacy continue to inspire the party as they strive to build a better future for Oyo State. He prayed for eternal rest for the deceased and comfort for those he left behind.
The APC family in Oyo State will deeply miss Hon. Omodewu’s leadership, guidance, and unwavering commitment to democratic principles. May his soul rest in peace. Engr Adeoye prayed.
