The Oyo State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has received materials for the party’s membership registration, update and revalidation exercise to be conducted across the thirty-three local government areas of the state.
The short ceremony took place in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital. The event was witnessed by the Oyo State Caretaker Committee of APC led by Chief Akin Oke; Oyo APC Registration Technical Committee led by Senator Olufemi Lanlehin; Oyo APC Registration Media Committee led by Hon. Kehinde Olaosebikan; local government party chairmen; APC registration supervisors for council areas among other senior party officials.
Mr. Ahmad Sajoh who represented Chairman of Oyo APC Membership Registration and Revalidation Committee – Hon. Abubakar Bawa Bwari, disclosed that the ongoing registration and revalidation exercise in the party is aimed at digitalising the membership base of the party.
Sajoh called on members of the party and people of the state to take opportunity of the registration exercise to registered so as to become a bonafide member of the party. He noted that the purpose of the distribution of the materials was that the party has realized that the best way for the success of the membership registration exercise was to ensure that anybody who is going to be part of the process is adequately trained and understand what the registration is all about.
