The lawmaker representing Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Iwajowa/Kajola federal Constituency in the green chamber, Hon. Abiola Shina Peller has finally settled political rift with one of his godfathers in politics, Hon. Wasiu Dauda Azuzu.
The former Commissioner for Works and Transport during the immediate past administration of late former Governor Abiola Ajimobi received the lawmaker in his Iseyin residence on Monday.
Confirming the development via his official Facebook page, Hon. Peller said his visit to Alhaji Oladimeji Wasiu Dauda aka Azuzu bordered on unity and progress of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Iseyin Local Government Area of Oyo State.
The statement reads:
In the spirit of oneness, unity and peace, whilst in Iseyin yesterday, I stopped by to see my Leader and brother Alhaji Oladimeji Wasiu Dauda aka Azuzu. We discussed so many issues bordering on unity and progress of our dear party, All Progressives Congress (APC) particularly in my local Government.
Big thank you to my brother Alh. Saheed Belerebe for the constant efforts in ensuring peace. Your role in this struggle will never go unappreciated and I’m certain that posterity will be kind to you.
