The Oyo State House of Assembly has confirmed the receipt of Governor Seyi Makinde’s nominations for positions of commissioner.
The commissioners-designate as announced by the Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin during the Tuesday plenary sitting included
Prof Daud Sangodoyin – Ministry of Public works
Mr Akinola Ojo – Ministry of Finance
Prof Oyelowo Oyewo – Ministry of Justice
Chief Bayo Lawal – Ministry of Local government and Chieftaincy
Barrister Temilolu Asamu – Ministry of Energy
Mrs Fausat Sanni – Ministry of Women Affairs
Mr Ismaila Ayansiju Lawal – Ministry of Establishment and Training
The number lawmaker in Oyo State noted that the seven nominees are expected to bring along their achievements in the last two years and their visions for the government and state.
According to the Speaker, the screening would hold on Thursday plenary sitting.
The News Carrier NG understands that Governor Makinde will soon forward the rest nominees to the legislative arm for confirmation.
