The lawmaker representing Oyo South Senatorial District, Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli has issued a disclaimer on a wanted conman, Alhaji Azeez who has been demanding money for palliatives on behalf of the lawmaker.
The lawmaker through his media aide, Akeem Abas, said he did not authorise distribution of palliatives through Alhaji Azeez or any other person.
The disclaimer reads:

We would like to issue a disclaimer regarding the fraudulent activities of one Alhaji Azeez. It has come to our attention that he has been deceiving people by claiming that he would provide them with palliatives from Sen. Sharafadeen Alli (APC-Oyo South) if they pay him money.
It has been reported that he collected N70,000 from the Bode Alagbo market in Ibadan under false pretenses.
We want to inform the general public that Sen. Sharafadeen Alli has not sent anyone to distribute palliatives on his behalf. He will never demand money from anyone in exchange for providing palliatives.
Therefore, we urge the public to be cautious when transacting business with Alhaji Azeez or any other individual claiming to distribute palliatives on behalf of the senator.
We want to emphasize that we do not condone any form of fraudulent activities, and we will not hesitate to take legal action against individuals found engaging in such activities.
We urge the public to report any suspicious individuals or activities to the appropriate authorities to avoid falling victim to fraud.
We want to reiterate that Sen. Sharafadeen Alli has not authorised the distribution of palliatives through Alhaji Azeez or any other person.
Therefore, the public should be wary of such individuals and should not indulge in any financial transactions with them. We thank the public for their cooperation and understanding in this matter.
