The Senator representing Oyo North Senatorial District at the Senate, Senator (Dr) Fatai Buhari, in his bid to lend a helping hand to the health sector amidst the second wave of the deadly coronavirus pandemic has begun the distribution of hospital equipment worth millions of Naira to selected three (3) hospitals in Oyo North Senatorial District.
The medical equipment donated include 30 units of Hospital Bed, 30 units of Mattress, 30 unite of Ward Screen, 10 units of Drip Stand, 30 units of Bed Spreader,30 units of Pillow and Pillow cases, 30 units of Face Shield, 30 Packs of Nitrile Globes, 30 Units of prospective Gowns and other items.
The distribution which kick started yesterday, Wednesday 7th, 2021 at Ago Amodu General Hospital in Saki East Local Government also moved to General Hospital Iseyin where the Senator and his entourage were received by the Medical Directors of both hospitals who separately expressed their appreciations for the timely intervention of the senator.
” Senator Buhari is known as a friend to General Hospital, Iseyin as he had in the past been of help to the operation of the hospital. This intervention of today is just his ways of doing his things. This will go a long way to aid our operation as we fight the deadly virus. I appreciate the Senator for the gesture and pray for God’s protection and guidance in his activities “. The Senator’s train stopped at General Hospital, Sunsun in Ogbomoso South Local Government where the hospital had its ration delivered to it today, January 8th, 2021. The Hospital Management thanked the Senator and wished him the best in all his endeavors.
The Senator while reacting appreciated the good work the health officials in the Senatorial District has been putting in and charged them not to relent in their efforts in having the pandemic under control in the Senatorial district.
Senator Buhari, however, assured them of more of his supports to the health sectors in the future.
