Residents of all of the five states of the Southeastern region of Nigeria seem to have complied with a sit-at-home order by the proscribed Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB).
The outlawed group directed residents in the Southeast zone of the country to sit at home from May 29 – 31.
Recall, Imo State Police Command vowed to decisively deal with members of the IPOB if they try to enforce the sit-at-home order.
The News Carrier NG understands that the residents of the 5 Igbo states obeyed the Nnamdi Kanu-led group following the gruesome assassination of Barrister Ahmed Gulak in Owerri on Sunday morning.
