Former first lady of Oyo State, Chief (Dr.) Florence Ajimobi on Friday paid a condolence visit to Senator Teslim Folarin of Oyo Central Senatorial District over the demise of his wife, Barrister (Chief) Angela Nwaka Folarin.
This newspaper understands that the bereaved senator was not in the country when the former first lady planned to pay her condolence visit. However, Chief (Mrs) Ajimobi sent her condolence letter.
“I am here on a personal condolence visit to my brother in-law, Senator Teslim Folarin. Distinguished senator was in the United Kingdom when I planned to visit. Late Angela was my good daughter. May Almighty God uphold and strengthen you (the Folarins)” she said during the visit.
On the entourage of Mrs Ajimobi were former Secretary to Oyo State Government, Alhaji Lekan Ali; former member house of representatives, Hon. Folake Olunloyo; immediate past deputy national youth leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Bolaji Hafeez Repete; chief press secretary to late former governor Ajimobi, Mr. Bolaji Tunji; Mr. Idris Ajimobi, former executive Chairman of Ibadan Southwest, Hon. Taofeek Adeleke Titao; Hon. Gbenga Babalola, and among others.
