The Chairman Senate Committee on Land Transportation and lawmaker representing Oyo North Senatorial District, Senator Abdulfatai Buhari has commended peaceful conduct of ward congresses across the local government areas of Oyo State.
The Ogbomoso-born politician also appreciated the National leadership of the party for providing inspiration and workable template that resulted in a congress which outcome is agreeable to all.
Senator Buhari further encouraged members of the party to keep faith with the party as credible alternative to greater Oyo state we so much desire come 2023
The federal lawmaker charged party stakeholders to embrace team spirit and togetherness with a view to dislodging PDP in Oyo State in 2023.
Meanwhile, Secretary, Media and Publicity Committee of the APC in Oyo State, Mr Olawale Sadare has countered claims that there were parallel congresses across the 351 wards in the state.
“No parallel congresses were held in Oyo State but the party would look into the crises in some wards” he said.
