APC May Hold Gov’ship Primary On May 24, Presidential On May 30. *Proposed N2m For Assembly Forms, N30m For Governorship

The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirants for the 2023 elections are likely to pay N30million to obtain the party’s expression of interest and nomination forms while House of Assembly aspirants may cough out N2million.

According to a proposed document prepared by the office of national Organising secretary of the party, House of assembly primaries will hold on May 17th, House of Representatives on May 19th, Senate on May 21st, Governorship on May 24th while the presidential primary holds on May 30th 2022.

The document proposed N2million for expression of interest and nomination forms for House of Assembly aspirants.

For the governorship aspirants, the expression of interest form costs N5million and the nomination form is N25 million.

Aspirants for the House of Representatives posts are expected to pay N5 million for both expression of interest and nomination forms. While that of Senate costs N10 million.

The News Carrier NG understands that the proposed document is awaiting approval of the National Working Committee of the ruling party.
