APC Professionals Council Sets to Hold Maiden Summit In Ibadan

The Oyo State chapter of All Progressives Congress (APC) Professionals Council has concluded arrangements to host the first-ever professionals summit in the state.

The summit is expected to attract different professional bodies drawn from the 351 wards of the state and slated for Thursday June 30, 2022 at the prestigious Jogor Centre, along Liberty road, Ibadan by 10.00a.m. prompt.

Speaking with journalists on the preparation towards the summit, the State Coordinator of the council, Dr. Bamidele Gold said, “the Professionals Council of our party is established essentially to reach out to professionals of all walks of life. While we seek to strengthen our members, we equally work to expand our reach and membership base as a party especially as we approach another election season. Toward this end, leaders of our party inaugurated this budding arm of the party.”

Also speaking on the preparation so far, the Chairperson Planning Committee, Mrs Nike Ajagbe said the Director-General of the Council, Hon. Seyi Bamigbade and over 20 members of the national officers of the council are expected to grace the occasion alongside thousands of party faithful from all wards and local government areas of Oyo State where notable speakers are going to speak and motivate the members ahead of the 2023 general elections.

“It’s an opportunity for men and women from different professional bodies to come and speak and interact on how best to mobilise and prepare for the 2023 general elections.

“We are also going to be inspiring ourselves. We intend to make a strong statement ahead of the 2023 general elections. We will come together and show the world that the APC is most ready to reclaim power in Oyo State and retain it at the national level.
