The political standoff between former Governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Ayodele Fayose and Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde over the control of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the Southwest has taken a dramatic turn as the two-term governor affirmed his status as the most senior leader of the party in the region.
The ex governor while addressing chieftains of the party from the six states of Southwest cautioned Governor Makinde to stop hauling out insults on the top echelons of the party.
Fayose, in a 11.49secs video clip, stated that nobody has the audacity to call him a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) except Governor Makinde and his followers, despite his sacrifices and supports for his (Makinde’s) electoral victory.
Fayose who described Engr. Makinde as a baby Governor, said the Oyo State governor is in critical condition as a result of spiritual bondage, courtesy of Senator Hosea Agboola Halleluyah.
