The Staff Unions of The Polytechnic Ibadan have embarked on an ndefinite strike, starting from today.
The News Carrier NG reports that the teaching and the non-teaching staff of the institution have been at loggerheads with Oyo State Government over the implementation of new national minimum wage and the enslavery of all the state-owned tertiary institutions by Plantinum consulting firm hired by Governor Seyi Makinde to oversee the finances of the institutions.
