The All Progressives Congress (APC) under the leadership of the Caretaker/ Extraordinary National Convention Planning Committee has faulted party chieftains’ remarks that greeted the Wednesday Supreme Court on Ondo Governorship Election.
The national caretaker of the party insists that the apex court’s ruling does not in any way affect the national leadership of the party.
Senator John James Akpanudedehe, Secretary of the CECPC said the APC leadership is intact and urged members of the party to remain calm.
Senator Akpanudoedehe who addressed an emergency media briefing with Niyi Akintola SAN, on Thursday at the APC National Secretariat, said the party has nothing to fear, saying the planned congresses of the party will go ahead as scheduled.
He said, “We stand with our National Chairman, we will go ahead with the congresses as planned. “
