
The Oyo State High Court, sitting in Ibadan on Thursday struck out 6 of 11 count charges against former Oyo State Governor, Adebayo Alao-Akala and two others, adjourned to October 2021.
The News Carrier NG reports that Alao-Akala, former Oyo State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Senator Hosea Agboola and an Ibadan-based businessman, Engr. Femi Babalola are being prosecuted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on N11.5 billion fraud case.

The defendants are facing an 11-counts charge bordering on conspiracy, awarding contracts without budgetary provision, obtaining money by false pretence, acquiring property with money derived from an illegal act among others.
Recall that Alao-Akala and the two others pleaded no case to answer at the last court sitting.
