The controversies surrounding the Olubadan stool is coming to an end as former governor of Oyo State and Osi Olubadan, High Chief Senator Rashidi Ladoja has clarified that Senator Lekan Balogun is the next Olubadan of Ibadanland.
According to the high chief, “Uninformed people are just causing unnecessary tensions in Ibadan. There is no controversy about who becomes the next Olubadan after the demise of Oba Saliu Adetunji Aje Ogunguniso 1”.
The former clarified that he had no hand in the controversial letter written by an Ibadan-based lawyer, Barr. Michael Lana.
The Osi Olubadan appealed for calm.
