Former senate leader and 2023 governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo state, Senator Teslim Folarin has condoled with Senator Abdulfatai Buhari on the passing of his mother, Alhaja Buhari.
The mother of Oyo North senator, departed on Monday, April 8.
In a condolence message made available to journalists in Ibadan on Tuesday by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Com. YSO Olaniyi, the former senate leader said that Alhaja Buhari’s; death was a irreparable loss to the family.
The statement reads in full:
I received the news of the demise of the mother of my brother, Distinguished Senator (Dr.) Buhari Abdulfatai Buhari, with shock but I am consoled by the fact that she lived a fulfilled life.
Mama was a good mother and pillar of support for her family. I share in Distinguished Senator Buhari’s grief at this period and I pray that Almighty Allah will grant him and members of the family, the courage to bear the loss as I pray for Al-Janatul Firdaus for the departed matriarch.
I call on the Buhari family of Ibapon community in Ogbomoso to take solace in the fact that their late matriarch lived to witness the enormous successes achieved by his children.
