The Chairman Senate Committee on Local Content and lawmaker representing Oyo Central Senatorial District, Senator Teslim Folarin congratulates a politician cum academia, Dr. Yunus Abiodun Akintunde as he celebrates his 60th birthday anniversary.
In a message to the Oyo-born politician, Senator Folarin described Dr. Yunus as an “Omoluabi” and great ambassador of the ancient town of Oyo.
The congratulatory message read in parts:
“On behalf of my family and good people of Oyo Central Senatorial District, I specially congratulate my dear brother and chieftain of our great party – APC, Dr. Yunus Akintunde as he celebrates diamond age”.
“Your life has been marked by outstanding accomplishments and achievements in education, private and public sectors. I, therefore, thank God Almighty on your behalf for letting you reach this landmark age. It is indeed a special privilege”.
“Let me also commend and congratulate you on public presentation of your book titled ‘Dimensions of Energy Poverty and Rural Electrification In Nigeria’. Though I’ve not read the book, I have no doubt that your intellectual contribution will surely address some of the challenges facing our dear country”.
“I wish you all the best as you continue to impact the lives of our people. I pray God Almighty grant you more years of good health, wisdom and strength to continue to serve the humanity” the statement concluded.
