I am Ready To Negotiate With Senator Kwankwaso — Ganduje

Kano State Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has said he is ready to mend his relationship with Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, Daily Trust reported.

In an interview with Radio France, the governor described the rift between them and Kwankwaso as a rift.

As he says:

“You know there are those who fan the flames of conflict. So right now we are trying to make sure we stop them and fix our relationship.

“This kind of fighting has been going on for a long time. Everyone knows reconciliation is better than fighting. We hope the Lord will help those who are trying to prepare us.

“As for us, we are ready to work together to prepare. It’s not that we don’t like it. There are exaggerators everywhere, but I say everything that has been done carefully and I think it will pass. ”

Ganduje went to the senator’s house for condolences

Ganduje went to offer condolences to Kwankwaso at his home in Bompai, Miller line over the death of his brother, Inuwa Musa Kwankwaso, Daily Trust reports.

In Bompai, the senator and other party members welcomed the governor.

Accompanying the governor were his chief of staff, several commissioners, party leaders, and other senior government officials.

Kwankwaso invited the governor to the grave of his father, Musa Saleh Kwankwaso, who was inside the senator’s residence where prayers continued.

Many clerics prayed for the deceased and later accompanied the governor after spending more than 30 minutes with him.
