The Senator representing Oyo North Senatorial District in the Senate, Dr. Buhari Abdulfatai has paid condolence visits to the families of youths who were murdered by officers of Nigeria Custom Services yesterday.

The Legislator speaking with the families in their respective compounds described the killings as acts of wickedness on the part of men of Nigeria Customs Services but charged the families to see the sad occurrence as the will of God.

While blaming the NCS personnels on the unethical and unlawful conducts that resulted to termination of lives of the promising young men in their early 30s, Senator Buhari disclosed that there were seven points enough for the officers to apprehend the smugglers before they got to Iseyin rather than shooting sporadically to the innocent youths who were not connected to Rice businesses.

He condoled with the families of the victims at Itan, Koso, Iwoya and Customs area in Iseyin and prayed onto God to give them all to bear the untimely loss of their children.

The lawmaker hinted that he had started making contacts and preparing motions that will charge Federal government on the matters so that drastic actions can be taken to make sure that perpetrators of the wicked acts face the wrath of law.

In his condolence visit to Aseyin of Iseyin, Oba Dr. Abdulganiyy Adekunle Salau, Oloogunebi-Ajinese I, Senator Buhari assured that he is not going rest on his oars untill the wicked officers who killed his Constituents are made to face the consequences of their wickedness.

Distinguished Senator Buhari Abdulfatai in company of Hon. Anthony, Prince Semiu Azeez, Alhaji Ololade Bello, Mr Alao Adediran, Mr Lukman Adewale, Mr Teslim Kunle and several other prominent leaders visited the families of the deceased: Abdullahi Azeez, Timothy Gbadegesin, Ibrahim Mojeed Onishile and Tobi Opeyemi and assured them that the offenders who terminated the lives of the young and promising children will not go unpunished.
