The former Lagos State governor, Asiwaju Bola Hammed Tinubu, has emerged All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate for the 2023 election.
He won with a total vote of 1,271 votes
Tinubu polled 1,271 out of the 2,322 accredited votes to defeat his runner-up, former governor of Rivers State Governor, Romiti Amaechi, who polled 316 votes.
The Vice President Yemi Osinbajo came a distant third with 235 votes.
